In the golden autumn of October, the 9th Tianjin International Seed Expo was successfully held from October 18 to 20, 2026, at Tianjin Social Hill International Conference Hotel, Xiqing District, Tianjin. Hebei Kairuote exhibited professional agricultural machinery at the event. We communicated face-to-face with seed industry clients from across China and overseas, presenting advanced equipment including seed tape machines, seed pelleting machines and plug seedling sowing machines.
As one of the most influential professional seed industry events in Northern China, this Tianjin Seed Expo brings together seed companies, seedling nurseries, agricultural material distributors and international buyers. It covers the whole industrial chain of vegetable, melon, medicinal herb and field crop seeds. Many visitors stopped by our booth to learn about our machines, with strong interest in seed tape machines, seed pelleting machines and plug seedling sowing lines.
A seed tape machine is seed processing equipment that fixes small seeds precisely onto eco-friendly water-soluble paper tape at preset plant spacing, then wraps them to form continuous seed tape. It uses vacuum suction cups to pick single seeds and automatically removes extra seeds to ensure one seed per pick. Seeds fall onto the moving water-soluble tape at the set spacing, then are wrapped with cotton thread and rolled into finished seed tape. The paper tape dissolves naturally in soil when exposed to water. It does not hinder seed germination and causes no soil pollution.
The plug seedling sowing production line can finish a full set of seedling procedures in one go: filling plug trays with substrate, levelling the medium, pressing holes, precision sowing and covering with soil. It serves as core equipment for factory-style seedling raising in nurseries. Adopting vacuum seed suction technology, it picks one seed at a time under negative pressure to ensure accurate seed placement in each plug and uniform seedling emergence.
The seed pelleting machine is special seed processing equipment. For tiny, irregular-shaped seeds, it coats the seeds evenly with pelleting powder to turn small seeds into smooth, round pellets of uniform size. Pelleted seeds are ideal for precision plug sowing, effectively reducing missed sowing and double seeding, and cutting manual thinning work afterwards.
During the exhibition, many seed enterprises, seedling bases and overseas buyers enquired about machine specifications, complete system solutions and quotations. The Kairuote team explained equipment principles to visitors, compared different models, and customized integrated solutions for seed treatment and precision seedling raising according to various crop requirements.
