Equipment Composition
The 2BP-1200 nursery seeding line adopts a five-stage modular design, which consists of a substrate lifting and tray loading unit, a roller-type precise sowing machine, a backfilling soil machine, a watering machine, and a receiving tray machine.
This equipment integrates eight functions:soil filling, leveling, pressing, sowing, secondary soil filling, secondary leveling, watering, and stacking. It enables one-click automated operations from blank seed trays to the completion of sowing.

1. Fill the trays with soil
The tray is sent by the conveyor belt to the bottom of the substrate hopper, automatically filling the seedling substrate.
Then it passes through the leveling device, removing the excess substrate from the tray surface, ensuring that the amount of substrate in each hole is consistent.
2. Press the holes
When the tray reaches the pressing area, the photoelectric switch automatically senses and controls the pressing roller to press down.
A uniformly deep and shallow seedling hole is created at the center of each hole.
3. Roller sowing
The negative pressure fan generates suction, and when the sowing roller rotates, it adsorbs the seeds through the micro-hole suction nozzle. When the roller moves above the tray, the system cuts off the negative pressure and blows air in reverse, precisely depositing the seeds into the pressed holes.
4. Cover the soil
After sowing, the tray passes through the soil covering hopper and is automatically covered with a thin layer of vermiculite or fine soil. Then, the leveling device sculpts the soil layer, ensuring uniform thickness.
5. Watering
After covering the soil, the tray passes through the spray device for mist watering, providing sufficient water for seed germination.
6. Receiving tray unit
The finished trays are sent by the conveyor belt to the receiving tray unit at the end of the assembly line. Workers can directly take the trays, stack them, and transfer them to the seedling greenhouse.
